LEL is a privately held Canadian company based on Vancouver Island. It was formed in 2019 to bring the PH Compressor to market. The Founder has deep technical knowledge and strong relationships with the North American HVAC/R industry. Other team members have decades of experience in establishing, building, and leading businesses in multiple industries.

Doug Lockhart: Founder And President:

Doug is an experienced businessman and researcher with over 45 years of industrial experience. He specializes in the fields of HVAC, GeoExchange, refrigeration, aquaculture, and indoor environmental controlled systems. Doug has a degree in Air Conditioning Engineering Technology, is certified as a B Class electrical contractor, is a member of the Society of Engineering Technologists as an Applied Science Technologist. He has designed, built, and patented a variety of prototypes and continues to enjoy technological innovation.

Doug Walker: MBA, CMC Senior Business Advisor

Doug is a business advisor to Lockhart Energy and several other companies. He is a Certified Management Consultant, with over 40 years of experience in business operations, business leadership, consulting, and university-level teaching and research. Doug’s role at Lockhart Energy is to provide strategic advice on governance, leadership, business strategy, and operations. He works closely with the Founder and executive team and served as Interim CEO.

Brenda Lockhart: Corporate Secretary

Brenda has been working with Doug Lockhart for over 30 years and has been the COO of both Lockhart Industries as well as Digi-Cool Industries. Her administration skills are not limited to the office but also to Trade Show (AHR Expo) planning, coordination and execution to show and market patented products to global customers. Whether any of the companies required day to day work plans or long term strategic planning including global vendor integration and timing for central integrated builds, Brenda is capable and experienced to pull it all together.

Peter Harwood: B.Sc.Eng. Senior Scientist

Mr. Harwood holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of New South Wales Australia. He has worked for several years as an Energy Efficiency Auditor working out ways for people to save money by saving energy usage. He is very instrumental in helping guide the Computational Fluid Dynamics researchers to complete the CFD and Prototype.
